I have a photocopied booklet given me by my aunt titled "The Eason Record". It was written by Ruth Winifred (eason) Lindenberger of Topeka, Kansas in 1951. She claims the the Easons of North Carolina were descended from William Eason and his sons Thomas and John who settled in Perquimans County, North Carolina about 1719 after having left Perth, Scotland in 1710. She writes that she doesn't know what they did in the meantime. The book I have is missing several pages, but it does list a record of James Knox Eason and Sarah Boles who migrated from North Carolina to Missouri about 1840 with his brother Joseph. They were the sons of Mills Eason and Bethenia Davis. Although the pages preceding this record are missing, I am inferring that they are all descended from William Eason. I hope this helps. If you would like any more information, e-mail me. I would be interested in any information you have. Stephanie Barrett
