I am researching the family of William Beavers and Nancy Moody who married 7 Nov 1799, Surry, North Carolina. According to family history, their daughter Lucy, b. abt. 1810 in North Carolina, married a Mr. Eason.
The Beavers moved to Tennessee about 1820 or so. By 1840, members of the family were in Fayette Co., Tennessee, and Desoto and Marshall Co., Mississippi. Some moved to Saline and Clark Co., Arkansas in the 1850s.
Family history says that Lucy Beavers Eason died in Jefferson, Texas.
Does anyone recognize this family?
