This is the first time that I have been back on the Eason, line in a long time, I saw your post about your Eason, in Haywood, Co. Tn. and Gates, Co. N.C.
Yes, I have Clarissa Eason, being born in Gates, Co. as March 10, 1827, she married Riddick Trotman.
Was she and Riddick, cousin's ? I am off of Alexander Eason and Mary Walton, the son of Jesse Eason and Elizabeth Riddick.
Alexander, had a son Robert Eason, who married Lydia Harris, and one of their son's Alferd Harris Eason, he married one of his cousin's Mary Ann Abernathy and one of their daughters Mariah L. Eason, married William Henry Scott, and moved to Haywood, Co. Tn. around 1860/1.
Do you have any information on the Gates, Co. Eason's ?
