Hi Jaimi,

I realised after I'd sent the mail that I'd made a mistake with your address, its coz it came up as the heading on your e-mail. How far have you traced - I've just found out that Dorothy Bintley is my cousin and was at my parents' wedding! Amazing. She is also in contact with my aunts. Small world. Let me know what you have, i.e. your father-in-law's name, his father's if you have it etc. I take it you've read all the inserts on the genealogy forum so you'll know all that's there, i.e. the Scottish/Celtic links etc. The fact that it seems 2 Easom males moved to America several generations ago and most US Easoms seem to stem from them. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? and where do you work? I can tell you that my father's family were brought up in the Methodist religion - if that's any help. We certainly don't seem to have a Catholic link that I have found as yet.
I lived in the States for 6 months back in 1993 and my sister married an American (although they are now divorced) and lived in California for 3 years. My brother plays American Football (unusual for a Brit as our sport is soccer). But he's represented Great Britain when we've played in Europe. And, up until this year, I've visited the States every year for one reason or another (usually either to go to the Superbowl or to visit my friends in New York and New Jersey).
Have you ever been to England?
Take care and speak soon
