Forgot to mention that I have a copy of a 1871 Davidson County map that covers White's Creek and it has the following names on it: Morris & Stratton (in two places), Earthman, and Wagoner in several places close together. It is hard to read-need magnifying glasses, but has had a lot of good info for me. If you would like a copy, let me have your mailing address and I will get one out to you. Also, I have a couple of pages of the 1850 census of that area, but do not have any of the names you are looking for. However, a more complete 1850 census might be a likely place to look for your Morrises and Wagoners. Perhaps you already have seen that census.

Jane
