You have several errors in the Wyatt Earp line as you have given it. Here are some of them: Nicholas Porter Earp married Virginia Ann Cooksey. Their marriage certificate in Ohio county, Kentucky shows her name as "Victoria" Cooksey, but she used the name Virginia throughout her adult life. Virginia Cooksey's maternal grandmother was Victoria "Vicy" (Weeks) Smith. According to Ohio county, KY courthouse records, Virginia's father was James Cooksey. This is very likely the name bestowed on her first child James C. Earp. The name Cooksey is spelled in several ways in older records, including some with the letter "x" (Cuxey). Virginia Ann (Cooksey) Earp died 14 Jan 1893 and was buried at Pioneer Memorial cemetery, Colton, San Bernardino co, CA. Her obituary appears in the 15 Jan 1893 issue of the San Bernardino Daily Courier. According to James C. Earp's pension file, he married Nellie Bartlett in Illinois, exact location not given. Nellie Bartlett had two children from a previous relationship: Frank Ketcham born abt 1864 and Hattie Ketcham born abt 1865. James C. Earp had no children of his own as far as anyone knows. The mother of Virgil W. Earp's child was Magdalena C. "Ellen" Rijsdam (original Dutch spelling). Virgil and Ellen said that they were married at Oskaloosa, Iowa, this is very doubtful as no record has been found to confirm this. The marriage date you show for them (September 21, 1861 in Knoxville, Marion, Iowa, USA) is ABSOLUTELY wrong. The Knoxville marriage was for Virgil's first cousin Walter McKendree Earp and his wife Ellen Donahue (Donahoo). The bogus marriage date was started by Glenn Boyer and he has retracted this date at least twice in print. Urilla "Rilla" Sutherland was born abt 1849 in Illinois according to the 1870 Federal census record for Barton co, MO. The Netherland birthplace as you give it seems to be someone's confusion with the birthplace of Virgil's Ellen Rijsdam. No marriage record for Wyatt S. Earp and Mattie Blaylock has been found, they were likely never married. I have never seen the name for Morgan S. Earp given as you have shown "Morgan L. Stapp Earp." His middle name is known only by the intial "S" as far as I know. What source do you have for "L. Stapp"? Annie Elizabeth Cadd died 12 Sep 1931. The 1947 death date you give seems to have been confused with the date of death of Allie (Sullivan) Earp (Virgil's last wife). You have the wrong birth date for James O'Kelley Earp (1821); correct date is 27 Nov 1818. Josiah Jackson Earp b. 16 Oct 1816; Francis Asbury Earp b. 11 Jun 1821; Walter C. Earp b. 28 Apr 1824; Jonathan Douglas Earp b. 28 Apr 1824; Sally Ann Earp b. 2 mar 1827. You have the wrong death date for Sally Ann Earp. She died 5 Feb 1902. Her obituary: Mrs. A.J. Eby died February 5, 1902, at the family home at 826 South Third street, following a stroke of paralysis a few days before. The stroke was a severe one, and while she was conscious until a few minutes before her death she was unable to speak. As Sarah Ann Earp she was born at Frankfort, Kentucky., March 2, 1827. The family to Monmouth in 1846, and on May 6 of the following year she married A.J. Eby. Dr. Richard Haney performed the ceremony, and they had lived in Monmouth and vicinity every since. Nine children were born to them, six of whom survived their mother. They were; Theodore Eby of Rockwell, IA., Edward J. Eby of Galesburg, Mrs. Anna Keene and C.L. Eby of Monmouth, and Mrs. Ida Miller of Osceola, IA. Mrs. Eby was a member of the Methodist church and her funeral was held at that church, conducted by Dr. Samuel Van Pelt (Deaths and Obituaries extracted from the Moffitt Book, vol. vii, 1985, p. 187). I doubt that your 7 Joshua Earp (father of 8 Francis Marion Earp b: September 19, 1851) was the brother of 7 Philip Earp. The birthdate for a possible brother of Philip (born abt 1755) with a son Francis Marion b. 1851 is silly.
