Denton, where did you get the marriage info. for Rachel and Wm. Phelps? I have the books of marriages from the Pulaski Co., Genealogical Society and it lists the groom's father as George and bride's as James. The only James Earp in Pulaski that I have found was the brother of Rachel. He was married in 1853 and it's possible that he was the James referred to on her bond. There are mistakes in those books.
