Tamara- I keep hearing that Josiah was born in 1790 in Ireland,but have seen no proof of it. His grandson was interviwed years later and many believe the grandson said Ireland as the birthplace of his grandfather,and it may well have been,but I also think he may have said Iredell Co.,NC. My thinking is that perhaps Josiah born in 1790 was son of Josiah born in 1761,who was son of William born 1729.
We'll just have to do more digging!!
But if you are related to the Josiah who married Martha Patsy Davidson,then you are related to my line.Pat
