Pat,
It appears the information I sent you some time ago has been misplaced, but you may recall it clearly stated your Josiah was born in IRELAND c.1790.

Goodspeed's "History of Camden Co. MO" contains a biography of the Josiah EARP who m. 20 Dec 1815 Rhea Co. TN Martha "Patsy" DAVIDSON. This biography was written by this Josiah's own grandson, and it states in part:

"Grandfather Earp was born in Ireland, and when quite young came to the United States, locating first in Tennessee, but died in Hickory County, Missouri."

At one time, I thought this Josiah was the one who is related to Wyatt also, but careful research indicates that is simply not the case.
