Based on my research your Edward was in Fairfax County Va in 1731 listed as a tenant paying rent to Benjamin Sebastain for land owned by Alexander. Also living below Four Mile Creek was a Judith Ballenger. In 1737 Edward and my sixth ggf show up in Bertie Co on a deed from Richard Pace patented by Pace in 1720. Cullen was appointed guardian to my fifth ggfs daughter, Unity after the death of William Earp in Johnston Co, NC. Based on all the clues Edward and William are sons of John & Rebecca Earp of Fairfax Co VA.
