I'm not an EARLYWINE researcher, but I own a 1915 History of Harrison Co., Iowa, with a biography for JAMES EARLYWINE, son of THOMAS and SARAH (PARKS) EARLYWINE. James was born August 1, 1870, in Harrison Co., Missouri. His parents were natives of Ohio and Indiana, respectively. THOMAS EARLYWINE was a soldier in the civil War, serving as a member of the 8th Regiment, Kansas Vol. Infantry. He was at the front for four years and was mustered out as a corporal. Thomas Earlywine was married before going to war, and he and his wife reared a family of eight children. The family moved to Harrison Co., Iowa, when James was about three years of age, living near Mondamin. Thomas Earlywine lived on his farm until the death of his wife, at which time he moved to Logan, Iowa. Thomas was a Republican and member of the G.A.R. If you want this bio, please e-mail me.
