Jubal never did marry, however he was with a woman named Julia McNealy, whom was as close to being Jubal's wife as anybody ever came. They did have four children together, Joseph Early born in 1850, Florence Annie Early born in 1858, Robert Early born in 1860 and Jubal L. Early born in 1864. The four children also have a half-sister by the same mother, Lilly born in 1867. You can find this information in a book called, Jubal - The Life and Times of General Jubal A. Early, C.S.A. written by Charles C. Osborne. In the back he describes how he received information, some of which come from direct descendants such as Jean Early Dugan who was granddaughter of Joseph Early, Great granddaughter of Jubal and Julia.
