I checked what information I have on my Thomas Perry Early and do not think yours and mine are the same one. Mine was in the 1860 census of AL, Jefferson Co., wife Susan, 7 children and aged 57.Too old, I would think, for even the Confederacy. William Earley whose will was probated in 1837 is my brick wall. I have tried to link him to the Earleys in NC but can't. The name Thomas Perry comes from someplace. It isn't common. I have never tried Georgia. Will look. Alex
