Greetings from another "Jim Early"...although without the final "e" in Early. Interesting that the name is spelled both ways. My uncle Joe Earley, who passed away recently in Texas, did indeed add the extra "e" to his name simply because everyone wanted to spell it that way. I've found that to be true myself but have stuck with the original spelling. I didn't recognize any of the Early names in your posting to the forum. Those have not shown up in my family tree. FYI, I am the GG Grandson of General Jubal Early by way of his first born, Joseph Emerson Early, my grandfather, Claude, and father LeRoy.
