A good reference re ancestors and descendents of Jubal Anderson Early is The Family of Early, Which settled upon the Earstern Shore of Virginia, And its connection with other families.

There are also pictures of Jubal as a young cadet and as General. There are several biographical pages.

There is also a reference to his spending time with his father's relatives in the Kanawha Valley . . . Does anybody know exactly who these people were?
