Early, CSA .... by Ed of 2112 My great grandmother was Rebecca Jane Early b. 1844 in Monroe County, d. 1/12/1928 in Monroe Cty, WV) VA; m. William Preston Young (b.1840 in Monroe County, VA, d. 3/8/1888 of typoid fever in Monroe Cty, WV) December 31, 1968 in Union, Monroe County, WV. William was a Conferate officer & tax assessor for Monroe County. She was the daughter of Daniel J. Early and Elizabeth Nickell. I am told that after the Civil War, Jubal spent time at their home in Monroe County, WV. I have always been told that Rebecca was related to Jubal. Would greatly appreciate any help!
