Hi ,

I have studied the Rickles line as my GGM is Ella Virginia Rickles GD of Thomas and Susan Mclendon Rickles

Next week I am meeting with Kathlene Rickles Crockett the 94 yr old daughter of Jasper Newton Rickles of Altoona Blount Co to share my hundreds of mid to late 1800 pictures and tin types.

My GGM ELla identified a majority of the St Clair and Jefferson Co Pictures. Some of the pictures I have are Ida Rickles, William L Rickles, Mary Rickles, Ann Rickles, Laffyett Rickles, Sam Henry Rickles, ELla V Rickles, MAry ETta Bradley Rickles, Beulah Vester Rickles, Carrie Rickels and many more.

I have a letter from Aunt Hennrietta Rickles b.1877 St Clair Co (Daughter of John B and Mary Etta Bradley Rickles stating that the Rickles came from Germany (not England as previously reported). The letter goes on to identify Thomas and Susans family in Ashville.

I am interested in any Rickles Bible records.

Anyone wishing to share info on the St Clair Blount/ Etowah Co AL Rickles/ Rickels please contact me. woodardj@cfl.rr.com

Best
John Woodard
