Early Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Karen! Great to hear from a cousin! I have some information now that I didn't have at the time of the posting. I only have 9 children for John W. Early and I have reservations about his wife's name. At the time of my grandfather's death he had already visited Sugar Hill Cemetery and found they had a double headstone. He has Eva Mary or Mary with a question mark. Also, he has her being born in Rockingham Co., VA on 11 Sep 1815, so she and John couldn't have been married in 1822. Just by going through this Early Genforum I have learned of a couple more generations. I still have to check them out though. For years I believed the Early's came from Great Britain or Ireland, only to find that they came from Germany and they spelled their last name Ehrle. There are a couple of people I'd like to e-mail and I'd be happy to share any info. I have. I'm disabled, so it's taken longer for me to find info., especially in the winter when I can't get out. If you would like to e-mail me and "compare & share", our e-mail address is: mruddell@sbcglobal.net Take care, Fran
