I am descended from both the MCCLENDON and EARLY families.

My MCCLENDONS are: Clarinda (KY)> Joel (KY)> Benjamin (NC, KY) > Joel (Anson Co., NC) > Dennis D. (Anson Co., NC) > Thomas > Dennis.

My EARLYs are: Mary Lavina, b. NC; D. Webster Co., KY. > Shadrack EARLY NC > James NC > John, d. 1740 in Bertie Co., NC > John Sr. d after 1740 in Bertie Co., NC. We think John Sr. is the son of another John from VA.
