The John were are talking about here was born in 1642 in Donegal Ireland. He arrived in James City, VA in 1661 and married Margaret Loyall. In 1682 , Thomas E. Early was born. Thomas married Elizabeth Johnson. Thomas was lost at sea sometime around 1716. His wife died in 1716 (evidence for that one). Their children were Jeremiah, Judith, and Effie. They went to live with a family named Buford. Jeremiah married Elizabeth Buford and Judith married the Buford's son. Effie married someone named Croswell. I hope this helps. The next time I go to Williamsburg, I will be happy to investigate further. I am hoping there are some land records etc. And Cari if you are reading this, who are the other nine children of John and Margaret? We are losing sleep over this one.
