Carolyn, Thank you! What a wonderful connection we have made here! You have given me so much helpful information, I don't know how I will be able to thank you. Hopefully, I have information that will help you, too. I certainly wouldn't mind if you would like to communicate directly with me at: cherokee356@mac.com. My mother, Zora Loraine Parker, was the only child born to Earl Hubert Parker and Martha Leona Lee on 10/3/1929 in Seminole, OK. Martha died giving birth to my mother and Earl died a couple of years later from injuries after a car crash in Texas. Martha's family, the Lee's of Bentonville, AR, raised my mother. Because her parents died when she was still a baby, her father's sister, Hazel Early White, saved everything... pictures, letters, census, marriage certificates, etc. I have taken these precious keepsakes and pieced things together as best I could. My mother has provided as much information as she can based on pure memory, and maybe she can be of help to you, too. I've been listening to her stories with delight since I was a little girl. I find it very interesting that your gGrandfather John Wesley Early was married to a woman named "Mattie" and my ggGranfather John Wesley Early was married to a woman named "Matilda." Are your "Early" family ancestors of Native American descent? I'd love to know more about the story concerning John Wesley from your family, if you would care to share. I think we do have a connection here... too many coincidences... Thanks again, Glenda
