Margie,
I noted your Earls info. I too am an Earls(Great Grand-son of Jesse Earls b 1818 in Virginia). I have noted Earls in Fishing Creek, North Carolina and especially Jesse Earls(ninth child of Gamaliel Earls). Jesse born in Granville County, NC in 162 but no death date indicated. Jessee also is listed in Granville County, NC in 1785.

I have found a Jesse Earls listed in Mecklenburg County, Virginia in 1787 and is single.

Could this be the same Jessee as the one in North Carolina?

If so could be grandfather of my ggrandfather born i Va in 1818.

Any thoughts or info would be appreciated.

I live in Marietta, Ga but family came from Va to Tn.

I was giving a speech in Houston recently and a member of the group said I looked exactly like her grandfather . Her anscestor was John Earls from North Carolina Spooky

Thanks,
