What I learned is that there are apparently two Earls clans in Yell County. My folks settled around Dardanelle but there are also many Earls' around Danville, just 20 miles to the west. None of the old timers I talked to could remember (or would admit to) any link between the two. Since I have no record of a James Troy Earls, I'm betting you belong to the Danville group. I took some photos in the Danville cemetery about 10 years ago, but they are not at hand. If I can locate them, I will look for James' tombstone. It may be some time before I can find them. Have you considered joining the Yell County Genealogical Society? They may have some info that would help. I have many of their quarterly bulletins, but again, I'm not real organized right now. Should I come across anything, I'll post here. Good luck, Mike Notify Administrator about this message?
