Gloria: Here are some dates I promised:
Samuel EARLEY, wife unknown, b. about 1765, probably in Scotland or No. Ireland, d. 1828, buried in Early family cemetery.
John EARLEY, wife Sophia, b. about 1788, d. 1872, buried in Early family cemetery.
Andrew EARLEY, wife Mary or Margaret, b. about 1792, d. 1855, buried Tidal cemetery.
According to John EARLEY's will, a copy of which I have, he had a son John, who was still a minor in 1872. This rules out this John being the one who married Mary HOPPER.
Andrew, also had a son John, but he was born in 1829. Now if Samuel, b. ca 1765, had a son Samuel, he could very well have been the father of John, b. 1812, who married Mary HOPPER. What do you think? Bruce
