I am trying to locate the family of my grandfather's cousin, Ollie (Oliver?) Earles, who I am told compiled a family history some years ago. Their common grandparents are: Elisha and Emma Earles of Carrsville, KY.
Here is the information I have:
Elisha S. Earles, (b. date unknown, place of birth somewhere in Illinois - d. Carrsville, KY 1927 or 1928) and Emma Woodmansee (b. date unknown, place - somewhere in Indiana, d. Memphis, TN. 1928, buried in Carrsville, Ky.)
Daughter - Bessie Esther Earles (b. Carrsville, KY Nov. 18, 1878 - d. Memphis, TN April 13, 1969) married Edgar Enoch Holland (b. Murray, KY, April 23, 1871-d, Memphis, TN May 1, 1940) Son - Edgar Earles Holland (b. Ava IL Nov. 22, 1901, d. Dallas, TX May 10, 1986) Daughter Mary Elizabeth Holland (married name Patterson, died in Memphis, TN)
I do not know the name of Ollie's father, or any other Earles family members. I have a photograph of the Earles family store in Carrsville, as well as a photo of Elisha and Emma Earles.
Please let me know if you have any information that would help me contact a branch of this family
