Hello Anne
My wife and I were looking at your Drury Eanes, information. She didn't have him in her book, but she did have this Josiah Eanes.
The son of :
Edward and Mary Vaven Eanes, born Henrico, Co. Va. on June 13, 1733- he died in Pennsylvania, during or just after the Valley Forge campaign of 1777-78. He was a member of a Va. organization and was reported as having died in their spring 1778 returns. He was given land by his father, Edward, Feb. 6, 1756 ( Chesterfield, D.B. 2, page 233. ) and again in his father's will in 1757 ( Chesterfield, Co. Va. W.B. 1, page 242.)
Do you know who he married ?
For, he had a daughter living in Amelia, Co. Va. The only Drury, that is in the book is his sister Judith Eanes, she was born 1768, she married a George Traylor, and one of their daughter's married a Duruy Dishman, in 1788. Do you have any more information, on these people, so we can add them to the book.
Elizabeth Anne Eanes Richardson
