No idea how Priscilla ended up in London, but I suspect it may have been through her work - lots of young women went into domestic service in those days, and many of these gravitated towards the big cities where the work was plentiful and the jobs better paid. My own great grandmother (who was from Somerset) found work at one of the posh houses in Kensington, London in 1891, only returning to Somerset to marry her sweetheart in 1899.
I hadn't heard about the gamekeeper getting shot - if it involved the EAMESes, I'd be very interested!
I got the 1911 census data from findmypast.co.uk - it's quite a hefty annual subscription, but has been well worth it for the data I've managed to amass. Ancestry is another good site, though they don't have the 1911 census as yet. But they gave so much other info that I don't know what I'd do without their annual subscription. I can recommend them.
