Jan,
At the Framingham, MA library a few years ago I found in the "Eames Family" file a story by Regina A. Foster called "The Young Hero of Framingham Plantations" an incident of King Phillip's War, 1676. I'm sure they still have it to copy as I did.
If you are a descendant of Nathaniel's you would injoy this little story.
