I don't know anything about him other than he was born in England around 1850 and came to Canada about 1900-1920.When my grandmother was born he lived in Croydon Kent England. His family was put into foster home because thay were extremely poor and he could not raise them . My grandmother worked as a nanny . His son George was killed in the war 1915 and is buried in France I believe The date I have for Goerge JR. birth was 1901,but that would oonly make him 14. The other (William) changed his name and did not get in touch with the family for 40 years. He lived near Kingston Ont .Don't know what happened to Harold . George and Catherine are buried in Prospect Cemetary in Toronto.Thank you for repling . It sounds like we have to go back to england to see if there is a connection Louise
