Wondering if you have learned anything. I recently found this reference -- perhaps there might be more info in the original newspaper?

ENTRY Married- In Bath County on Thursday, December 30, 1830, by Rev. James Paine, Mr. Jacob Eakle, to Miss Jane A. Bodkin, daughter of William Bodkin. (p. 3, c. 3)
DATE OF PUB. Saturday, January 8, 1831.
