I have info from Edith Francis, Indianapolis which lists only four children of Henry and Phoebe, they are: Andrew Jackson Eakle b. 1843, Tolitha Eakle b.22 Nov 1847, Jacob Eakle b.22 Sep 1849; and William Turner Eakle b.15 April 1852. There is some info taken from an old Bible, supposedly from Henry Eakle (b.14 Feb 1775) which was in the hands of a descendant in Red Boiling Springs, TN a few years ago. Glen Eakle of Louisville, KY sent me some info in the early 1970's taken from the bible. There are lots of descendants working on the Eakle line. One is a professional genealogist, Arlene Eakle in Woods Lake, Utah and she mentions this line in one of the books she co-wrote, "Ancestry's Guide to Research".
