Hi There, I have been searching for years without much luck to locate James Akins' parents. James was born in Delaware County, N.Y., lived in Unidilla N.Y. for a time and then moved to Liberty N.Y. where he is buried. He married Mary____ and his children were: George H. b 1833 d. 1908 in Livingston Manor, N.Y., Emmalinda b 1837, d. 1915, Amos P. b 1843 d. 1864 at Peach Tree Ridge fighting in the Civil War, Hannah Elizabeth b. 1845, Eliza b 1847, and Mary Emma b. 1852. I would appreciate any help that you might be able to give me. My Akins were colorful and I am most interested in them. Jo Diescher
P.S. Emmalinda Akins was my GGGrandmother
