Intereste in her Macaulay connection. This is what I know:
Helen Macaulay Eakin lived at 35 Alma Terrace. She died in 1888. The executors of her will were James Hyndman Ferguson, Esq., of Belgrave Villa, Knock, Co. Down and Margaretta Miller of Cliftonville.
Her husband, William Eakin, died one year before in 1887.
He had a Co. named W. Eakin & Co. at 52 Donegall St. The executor of his will was Samuel Eakin, farmer, of Glennor, Co. Monaghan.
Margaretta Miller and William Eakin also served as the executors of the will of Anna Maria Patterson, the wife of Dr. James Patterson, M.D. Dr Patterson d. in 1869 and she in 1876. They had at least one child, Anna Thomasina Patterson.
I assume that Helen Macaulay Eakin was somehow related to the Macaulay family of Crumlin and Larne as was James Hyndman Ferguson. Just don't know the exact connection at this time.
