Hello Marie, This David Eakin is new to me. Up to now I had believed that the Eakins did not arrive in Western Pennsylvania until the late 1790's. I cannot find any record of a David Finley Eakin on any of my family lists.
The spelling as 'Eakin' is peculiar to Ireland and this family must have once resided there.
