Looking for confirmation on Lemuel Horace Eakin b Feb. 24, 1862 in pleasant Mound Bond Co. IL and d June. 20, 1927. Married to Ida Mae Tibbs daughter of Levi Tibbs and Catherine Jones. Ida Mae was born March 13, 1864 in Near Madison, Darke Co. Ohio. I have found nothing on them in the Eakin Archives. A family relative gave me info on their complete family. There are some things that doesn't add up, so I wanted more proof.
Children of Lemuel and Ida are:
1. Charles Vanus Eakin, b Oct. 13, 1885 d. May 24, 1947 m Lena Lenora Cartmill. ??? (Is this the same as---below ?)
2. James Charles Eakin b. Oct. 13, 1885 d. May 24, 1947 m Lena Lenora Cartmill.???(Is this the same as-above ?)
3. Roxie Olive Eakin b March 16, 1887
4. Elise Blanch Eakin b March 21, 1891
5. Leonard Earl Eakin b March 27, 1893
6. Geneva Edna Eakin b July 8, 1895
7. Myrium Ruth Eakin b Sept. 22, 1898 I have all the information on their families, just want to check out Charles Vanus Eakin and James Charles Eakin. Seems they were born and died on the same day and married the same woman. Is there anyone who can clarify this for me? Ann
