Hi Bob,
My Eakin line is from the James Eakin/Agnes, their son James Eakin/Isabella Moore, and their dau Margaret/George Ford, all of Rockbridge County.
James Eakin and Isabella Moore also had a son Alexander who married Jane Clinebell and they remained in Rockbridge.
That Alexander is often mixed up with the Alexander Eakin of Washington Co.
Are you sure the parents of your Alex is James and Isabella?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
