Hi, I descend from Samuel David EAKIN, also. His daughter, Mary Jane EAKIN, was my ggm.
She was b.7Dec1853, Jasper Co, MS. She married Andrew Jackson BLODGETT 7Apr1871. They had 13 children. I have only been able to identify 11 of them. The other two must have died young, and I haven't been able to find their names. Mary Jane died 6Mar1942 in Montague Co, TX, and is buried at Starkey Cemetery near Bonita. AJ was born 8Jan1852 in Hickory County, MO. He died 17May1908 near Monument, NM, which was in Eddy Co. then but is in Lea County now.

My gm was Mary Arminta (Mint), b. 14Feb1890. She married Barney Franklin COX in 1907. They had seven children. She died 22Jan1966 in Temple, Bell Co, TX, and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Nolanville. BF was born 8Jul1886, Hubbard, Hill Co, TX, died 4Mar1968 in Temple, Bell Co, TX.

My dad was their youngest child and the only son to live. He was Louis Leslie COX, b. 25Oct1924, Comanche, Stephens Co, OK. He married a Pauline ____ during WWII in California. Later, he married my mother, Doris Lucille GREEN, 25Jul1953, in Houston, Harris Co, TX. He died 10Feb1990 in Corpus Christi, Nueces Co, TX.

I was born Kathryn Rebecka COX 2Sep1959 in Corpus Christi, Nueces Co, TX. I'm married to Dennis Walter SEIBOLD.

I can provide more information if you're interested. I know there's some misinformation about my AJ and Mary Jane's family out on the web these days.
