William Armstrong Eaker is my Great,Great Grandfather. His son, William A. Eaker is a brother to Young Yancy Eaker who was father to Ira C. Eaker. William A. Eaker's son, Price Durst Eaker is my Grandfather. Price and his father, William A. Eaker are buried at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, NM., as are many Eakers. William Armstrong Eaker, SR. was a Confederate soldier and info. about him is in Ira C. Eaker's book "Airforce Spoken Here". The Eaker family history is traced back to 1723.
