I recently started researching my husbands' side of the family tree and find I don't have much info on his Eaker branch. What I have is miniscule data that my brother-in-law found. What I have is this; my husbands' g grandmother was Mary Jane Eaker b:2 Dec 1846 Cape Girardeau Co., MO. She married Thomas Carl Blair about 1864. Her parents were John Eaker b: 23 Dec 1823 MO, d: 15 May 1854 Bolinger Co., Mo; Elizabeth Huffman b: 1825 NC, d: After 1860. John Eakers' father is written down as Christian Eaker b: 1801.
My question is whether these Eakers fit into the Eaker line that was researhed in the book "The Shoe Cobblers' Kin by Lorena Shell Eaker? I was also hoping to find someone with more info who would be willing to share.
