I'm happy to report that I was contacted in Feb08 with an offer to send 8 original photos from the Eaid family living in Michigan (Bay City, Muskegon, & Big Rapids) in the 1890's! Thanks to Jerilyn Marshall from Iowa, she bought the photos in a collection from Oregon and was so kind to send them to us.
The Eaid family members featured are from John & Elizabeth Eaid's children: Mary E (1861), James E (1863), Minnie J (1866), John R (1869), Albert M (1869), and Maybel P (1879). Also included are photos of John Eaid's cousin Johanna Eaid from Ireland and Elizabeth Eaid (Johnson) brother George.
