I tried to email you but it bounced. I have a lot of info on the orrison's but I can't find anything about Lanies ancestors. Why did you think her last name might be "Waigley" I just found some interesting notes on the "Eagly" name: 1)Other records in in possesion of Ann Crocker ( I have her address in VA, she doesn't have email yet) has her as Lanie. Photo of gravestone has her as Lanie.(I have that photo) Died 20 Aug 1869 at 93 years 2 mo and 28 days. Will has her as Laney, court order 13 dec 1869 Loudon Co. wills. 2)The Eagley name can be found in Pennsylvania as early as 1790 where it was spelled Egley, Egly, Egle or Egli The Eagley family is descended through Marcus and Elizabeth Egli. Marcus Egli was born about 1690 in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. The family came to America in 1743 and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.( Write me at
