I descend from Rebecca Hallat's brother Joseph Elliot Hallat who emigrated to Toronto Can c. 1852 with his wife Amelia Maria Daniell and son Alfred. They had 11 children in all. My grandmother Charlotte b. 1869 was their youngest child.
