Richard, I just started researching this line for a friend. Matilda Denison m Augustus Eagles, son of William and Sarah. Was especially interested to see the name of John as Laurene/Lurene/Laurena as it is similar to my name. I am trying to find the parents of Matilda, who was half MicMac. She may have been a "moon baby" as they called them in Nova Scotia. I don't have any more info on John to add, but appreciate the info you provided.
