In the process of researching my grandfather, Edward Valentine Farrell, I accumulated a great deal of Eager informtion, for he was raised by them from age 10, as was his sister Emily, from age 13.
Robert A. Eager, born 1868, accountant. Lived at Mt. Venus, Farm Hill and Liffey Vale in Dublin. Born in county Louth. Married my great aunt Mary Frances Kathleen Farrell (b 1869) in 1892. Children were:
John Wellesley (called Jack) born in 1893. He immigrated to Shelton, Washington, USA in 1919. Eileen, born 1895. Robert Latimer born 1896, Ruth born 1898, Edward Bruce born 1901, Susan born 1905, Sybil born 1907, Alex Knox born 1909. They raised my grandfather Edward Valentine Farrell born in 1882 and my other great aunt Emily born in 1879.
Children of Jack Eager, now in their 80s and 90s, live in the Tacoma, Washington, USA and Shelton, Washington area.
