Hi Rhonda,
I just came across your message last night and noticed there was a recent reply to your message from John Dvorak. I also have been in contact with John. He is not related to the Eagans, but has studied the history of the General and his son.

My husband's 2ND GREAT UNCLE was GENERAL CHARLES PATRICK EAGAN, who married EMMA JANE JOHNSON and who had a son CHARLES E. EAGAN. I did have some info on the General & John Dvorak sent me info I never had before on his son Charles. John was wondering whatever happened to the General and his son Charles after 1900. I do not have information on son Charles.

My husband's GREAT GRANDMOTHER, MARGARET PHEOBE EAGAN was a sister to the GENERAL. She was born and married I was told in BALLYMOTE, SLIGO COUNTY, IRELAND. Her first husband was a MR. BOYLE who might have died in the famine in Ireland. She had 1 child by him and was pregnant with another when he died. Then she went to New York - age 16 yrs. Married 2nd husband - DOMONIC MCWILLIAMS in New York.

Margaret and the General's parents I was told were PATRICK EAGAN & BRIDGET MULLIGAN.
I sure would appreciate hearing from you and compare notes to see if there is a connection here.

Thanks so much,

Kathy Orchard
