I am trying to locate my grandfather's family. He was John Joseph Eagan b. 9/23/06, d. 11/8/82 in Albany, NY. Although his name was John, he went by Joe. His mother's name was Catherine McCann Eagan Logan (she remarried after his father died) She died 10/1/61 in Albany NY. We think his father's name was Robert. He died sometime between 1906 and 1925. John Joseph (Joe) was the oldest of 5 children. His 4 sisters, Lilly, Lucy, Helen and Louise were put into homes, orphanages, or taken in by the catholic church when they were very young. Louise Eagan b. 5/24/25 d. 3/8/96 is buried in Albany NY. The family could have lived in the Troy, Albany or Rens. area of NY. If anyone might know about this family, I would greatly appreciate any information you may have. Thank you!
