I am a student with a genealogy assignment. I am looking for information on an African American family named Eady, whose ancestors might have been from Georgia or Alabama, but who settled in Central Florida. Also, I am interested in finding out when our family took the name Eady, and in what part of Africa we originated. My grandmother is Alice Jones Eady.
