Martha Alice Eads, b. 1868, possibly MO?
Whoever has this lady in their family information, please contact me asap.We have been searching for her family for about 30 years. In her later life, which is all I know about her, except what her son, my grandfather said about her, she was very native American in her looks and stories, and what she did, like make native American things. She married our gr-grandfather, Azariah T. Paschal on 30MAY1886, Benton Co., AR, and we have the marriage certificate for that. She also celebrated her birthdays in January and is noted on all family documents, including her death certificate, as having been born in 1886, probably in MO, but we're not sure. She died in 1953 in Ft. Pierce, Fl, and we're trying to arrange her to be moved to her already prepared grave beside A.T. in AR.She attended a boarding school in MO, and we're not sure where although one of my brothers thinks our grandfather said it was in Kansas City before she married A.T. Paschal (he was m.1st to Nancy Ellis for 4 years and she died from childbirth complications after giving birth to their daughter Effie; he was m. 2nd to Martha Alice Eads 30MAY1886, Benton Co., AR, and they were together in Benton? Co., AR, supposedly on his property on Pea Ridge, ever since and until he died. They were parents of my grandfather, their only child:Elijah (Elza) George Paschal, b. 1893, Garfield?, Benton Co., AR.Grandad said in his later years that he believed she was Native American of a tribe that was in MO during the early 1800s, probably Otoe-Missouria, Osage, Shawnee, Cherokee, or her mother was.He also said she used to say that her father's cousins or family were Blackfoot.Hope to hear some feedback on this soon. - Many friendly regards, Annadella Paschal ([email protected])
