Hi Steve,
I am lost in SC and GA looking for the parents of Daniel E. Eads(Eeds). His father was born in SC and mother in Germany.I think his father may be a John or William. I see other Eads/Eeds/Eades/Edds listed in GA but do not know how they might be related.
Daniel Eeds was born in 1809/GA. He lived at Allen Factory P. O. by 1860 Marion Co., AL, Census, and Daniel was listed as a farmer.
Some of these below may be siblings of Daniel's, like Elizabeth Eades, Davis A. Eads and John Eads, because they were so close in location to each other, I thought I might list them until I can do more research.
Elizabeth Eades marriedJohn R. Cox in 1825, Tuscaloosa, AL.In Bibb Co., AL, 1840, the Cox's were 3 houses from Davis A. Eads.Davis A. Eads married Oranda Townsend in 1837 Tuscaloosa AL.
Daniel Eeds b. 1809 GA married Vianna Pierce/Pearce in 1838 Bibb Co.,AL.From the birth of child John we know they were someplace in MS 1845, from birth of child Sarah Jane we know they were back in AL in 1851.
A John Eads was associated with Frederick Ray (who's daugther married an EADS), John Collins, John Cameron, Michael Ashford, and a man called Chappell in the establishing Hopewell Methodist Society east of Tuscaloosa.I found some of these people listed in Coweta Co., GA in 1830.I have no other leads on this John Eads of Tuscaloosa.
I have some other data on the GA Eads.
