I am looking for information about my grandfather, Joe Sullivan Eads. He was born in Texas about 1887 and the 1920 census lists his parents born in Alabama. I know that he married a woman in Kaufman, Texas named Dessie Philley on 2-10-1907 and had one son Charles Sullivan Eads on 1-1-1908. He then married my grandmother, Mae Lotta Woodson on 5-1-1915 and had 4 children, 3 of which died at birth, one son lived, Calvin Charlie Eads (my father)born 10-26-1917. Sometime between 1920 and 1930 he left my grandmother and was never heard from again. Everyone has passed away but me and I would just like to know where he is buried and a little bit about any family left.
